44,950 Georgia women and birthing persons live in counties without a single health center that provides the full range of methods. This is group is part of the larger 632,230 women and birthing persons in need who live in contraceptive deserts, counties that lack reasonable access to the full range of available contraceptive methods like the birth control pill, intrauterine devices, or long-acting injectables.
