In this role, Sara Jean will oversee the Development and Grants Programs and be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, oversight, planning, implementation, and management of all fundraising and development activities for programs and corporate campaigns. She will report directly to the President, Dázon Dixon Diallo.

Sara Jean is a well-rounded professional with over 10 years of experience in program development, client prospecting, and territory sales, combined with extensive fundraising and donor management background. Throughout her banking career, she has been recognized for her outstanding levels of professionalism and dedication, leveraging strong team leadership, effective communication, and partner development to drive forward progress.

Most recently, Sara Jean was recruited to lead the development department at Girl Power Rocks, where she successfully restructured their organizational brand and aggressively fundraised for Mama Hattie’s House, a $20-million dollar capital campaign project. In this role, she was responsible for designing and implementing donor prospecting strategies and fund development programs to meet annual goals. She also collaborated across the board to rebuild relationships, inspire confidence, and develop partnership initiatives.

Sara Jean holds a degree in International Business and is currently pursuing her CFRE certification. She is passionate about advocating for women’s empowerment and the preservation of the family unit. In her free time, she dedicates her time to serving on committees whose mission aligns with her passion. Ms. Jean started with SisterLove earlier this month.
